Match report: AIFC v Senegal
An eventful game at Sarriena against Senegal ended two apiece. Vaxo fired the Isles into a 2 minute lead only to then see red after 3 minutes with some silly retaliation. After that it was in full defence mode as Senegal pressed for the equaliser.
Early in the second half Senegal equalised with a back post header from a corner that looped into the net. Then the rythmn of the game changed as first the Isles then Senegal got and converted penalties. The former justified the second very soft.
As the clock ticked down, pressure intensified but the team held firm to secure a well-deserved and hard-earned draw. Man of the match: Luisan.
